Independent watchmakers, established houses, and Taipei's collecting community, gathered for four days of exhibitions, talks, and late-night conversation about the mechanics we choose to wear.
Founded in 2026 by a small group of collectors, retailers, and independent watchmakers based in Taipei.
Taiwan has spent seventy years building the machines the rest of the world depends on for precision — from motherboards to the tools that made this island the center of global manufacturing. Watchmaking asks the same question at a smaller scale: how finely can something be made, and how long can it be trusted to keep working.
Taipei Watch Week brings that same instinct for craft into a room with collectors and makers. Not a trade fair, and not a retail pop-up — a few days where the people building this culture in Taiwan can meet the wider watch world in person, over the pieces themselves.
"We wanted a room where a first-time collector and a fortieth-year retailer are having the same conversation."
